The state strives to improve health services considering health services distribution, reducing disparities between urban and rural areas, balancing expenditures on curative and preventive health services, Cure at state expenses and improving citizens health culture level.
CAPMAS issues "Annual Bulletin of Health Services " which includes data on hospitals in (Government - Public / Public business - Private sectors) as well as treatment establishments that do not have an internal clinic by sector, geographical and qualitative distribution, data on number of patients who have been treated at state expense abroad and at home and their treatment cost by different specialties. It also includes data on medical ambulance centres and number of ambulance cases in them distributed by accidents causes, in addition to equipment and supplies
CAPMAS presents this bulletin 2012 to be assistance to researchers and those interested in this field hoping to achieve the desired benefit.

-The form is designed in the concerned department to give a depict about fixed hotels - tourist villages - pensions - youth hostels - youth hostels - floating hotels activity (Public \Public business and Private sectors) in A.R.E to provide necessitate data for planning and study purposes
- The form includes statistical data on No. of fixed hotels - tourist villages - pensions - youth hostels - youth hostels - floating hotels according to specialization type and subordination to Public \Public business and Private sectors in A.R.E governorates

- The form was designed in the concerned department in Statistics sector
- The form is sent to the printing press to be printed with 1,848 forms (Public \Public business and Private sectors).
- After printing, the statistics forms and framework are sent to Regional branches sector to complete the required forms from sources which are sources 1848
- Researchers in Regional branches sector are trained on how to fill out the form
- Forms are sent from Regional branches sector to all its offices in all Egypt governorates to complete the forms
- After being completed, the forms are sent to Regional branches sector in CAPMAS
- Forms are organized according to governorates and their related authority (Public \Public business and Private sectors)
-Then it is sent from Regional branches sector to Statistics sector to be reviewed ,coded then sent to IT sector to be registered on the designated programs
Data processing
1- The concerned department reviews the form in terms of completeness, logicality and comprehensiveness.
2- The concerned department with management makes a sequence of the forms according to governorate, tourism class and hotel arrangement number
3- After reviewing, forms are sent to IT sector to be registered on the designated programs
4- The used programs for recording and purifying errors are Sybase
5- In coordination between IT sector and statistics sector, the department reviews the bulletin tables in terms of their numbers conformity and logicality, correcting errors if found with IT sector on the designated programs
Data appraisal
The department makes graphs compared to the previous year for households, rooms, guests, nights, No. of hotels and revenues to see
how much it has changed from the previous year and made indicators to compare with the previous year on households, rooms, workers, guests, stay nights, revenues, wages, No. of fixed and floating hotels.
