    Monthly Bulletin of average retail prices for the most important building materials is issued periodically to serve data users and decision-makers starting from May 2008 as the first release so far.
    Abstract

    Definition of consumer (retail) price:
    Retail price means the commodity selling price by retailers or the like .to the final consumer, those prices include all fees,taxes and sales tax

    Geographical scope of price collection:
    Prices are collected from all Republic governorates by specialized representatives of CAPMAS offices in the governorates capitals.

    Commodity framework:
    The most important commodities representing building materials (Iron - Cement - Wood - Bricks ... etc.).

    Statement Sources:
    Three sources are selected upon the governorates capitals.

    :Timing of price collection
    Prices are collected from 15th to 17th of every month.

    Periodicity:
    The bulletin is published every month that includes the current month and the month preceding the current month,the month corresponding to the current month of the previous year,Monthly and Annual change rates for these months

    1-Individual statements are secret and no individual or authority may be informed of them.
    2-No statistical statement may be used as a basis for a tax, and evidence shall not be taken for any judicial or legal action.
    3-All must provide the required data to CAPMAS representatives matching the truth and on the specified dates, allow CAPMAS representatives to see all the documents to verify the statement truth.
    4-Imprisonment not less than one month & not exceeding six months and a fine not less than L.E 100 and not exceeding L.E 500 shall be punished for any person who violates the provisions of the previous articles or makes incorrect statements.

    All statistics issued by CAPMAS do not have dealing conditions other than those incoming in Law 35 or under Law 35
