    Working is begun using the customs certificate according to the statistical guide for the harmonized customs tariff items consisting of (10) limits and prepared according to the harmonized tariff terms issued by Republic President Decree No.(38) of 1994 dated in 13 February 1994.
    Methodology notes

    Data is entered according to prepared programs in Economic and Labor Statistics Sector.

    Customs certificates are issued for imports from Customs Authority within a month and 10 days from the reference month date,The customs certificates of exports are to be sent from General Authority for Exports and Imports control within 10 days from the reference month.Both Ministry of Petroleum and Ministry of Electricity send their data within 20 days from the reference month.

    Non-petroleum imports through Customs Authority on CD and CAPMAS website.
    Non-petroleum exports through General Authority for Export and Import Control through CAPMAS website.
    Petroleum exports and imports from Ministry of Petroleum as Paper documents.
    Electricity exports and imports via Ministry of Electricity as Paper documents.

    1-During data registration on computer,Validation program is run.
    2-Errors are reviewed from Validation program.
    3-Then,The irrational errors are sent to the sources to be reviewed.
    4-Errors are reviewed after receiving from the sources.
